The Grain Division.

Helping Montana’s farmers

feed the world.

While so many of our competitors are giant foreign-owned multinational corporations, Mountain View Co-op is headquartered in Montana and owned by you.

Working with us means your money stays in our local communities. It means our small towns can thrive.

It matters. You’re not just a number with us, you’re a neighbor.

The Collins Elevator:
A True Montana skyscraper

Built in 2001, Mountain View Co-op’s Collins elevator was one of the first shuttle terminals in the area, and it’s still one of the best.

20 stories tall

The concrete silos proudly stand about 140 feet high, and the legs go about 40 feet higher.

Fast and efficient

We have two pits to unload trucks fast. Each pit can unload a truck in just a few minutes.

trains get done fast

Our high tech loading system lets us load trains quickly, keeping us up and running.

new rfid system

We recently put in a new RFID card system, speeding everything up and minimizing errors.

You increased your production,
we increased our storage.

Think you can fill us up at harvest time? Challenge accepted.

Two million bushels of new storage.

Nobody likes waiting for trains at harvest. Our new ground piles hold almost five trains worth of beautiful winter wheat, and the tarps and powerful aeration system means it all leaves Collins in top notch condition.

Fast unloading at the piles.

Our massive new stacker is connected to two raised pits, setting the standard in speed and efficiency.

Speaking of speed…

We dumped more than 3 million bushels of winter wheat in three weeks last harvest.
